SPECIAL MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PARIS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH 2022 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Board ofAdjustment meeting was called to order by RuthAnn Alsobrook at 12:05 p. m. <br />The following members were present: RuthAnn Alsobrook, Larry Walker, David <br />Hamilton, Lydia Fitzgerald and Carlton Cooper. <br />Also present were Andrew Mack, Robert Vine, Stephanie Harris, Mayor Portugal, <br />Alternate Alix Putnam and concerned citizens. <br />2. Election of Officers. <br />A. Chairman <br />Chairperson. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Motion was } <br />de by Lydia Fitzgerald, seconded by David Hamilton to elect Larry Walker as <br />Vice -Chairman. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Motion was made by David Hamilton, seconded by Larry Walker to approve minutes for the <br />August 2, 2022 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br />4. Public hearing to consider and take action on the petition of Marx Offutt regarding <br />variances to the City of Paris Off -Street Parking and Loading Regulations Paving <br />Standards on .Lot 1, Block A, of the Offutt North Main Addition CB 78, being located at <br />423 N Main Street, sections as follows: <br />1) 10-110(a) variance to allow parking lot to remain as is. <br />2) 3®102(3) ' variance to eliminate landscaping buffer on .Worth side of <br />property. <br />3) 30102(3) 6' variance to eliminate landscaping buffer on South side of <br />property. <br />
