Lastly, <br />Mr. Mack explained that though the variance is worded for the parking lot to remain as is there <br />are improvements already planned for the parking lot. <br />Ms. Alsobrook continued the public hearing. <br />Marx Offutt of 4808 CR 22880, and applicant states that the existing parking lot is very durable <br />and can withstand more than the anticipated weight of vehicles parking on it because he had to <br />drive heavy machinery on the lot to remove a tree. Motion carried 5-0. <br />CONDITIONS: <br />1. Existing asphalt parking lot must be swept. <br />2. Existing asphalt parking lot must be seal coated. <br />3. The above conditions be completed prior to issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. <br />1. The request for variance is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning <br />Ordinance and does maintain the spirit and intent of the Off -Street Parking Requirements <br />which serve to promote a higher quality of appearance and safety for all commercial re- <br />development projects within the community. <br />
