MINUTES OF THE MAIN STREET BOARD MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />10 JANUARY 2023 <br />The Main Street Board of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 4:30 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Paris City Hall, Paris City Council Chambers, 107 E. Kaufman <br />Paris, Texas 75460. <br />Present: Board Members: Greg Kee, Tracy Dougherty, Glee Emmite, William <br />Walker, Tyrone Hayden, Kari Daniel <br />City Representatives: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager; Andrew <br />Mack, Director of Planning & Community <br />Development; Rob Vine, Assistant City Manager <br />Absent: Board Members: Chad Lindsey <br />City Representatives: Becky Semple, Visitors & Convention Council <br />Liaison; Mahir Pankaj, City Council Liaison; Shatar <br />Moore, City Council Liaison <br />Call meeting to order. <br />Greg Kee, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 4:32 p.m. <br />2. Citizens' Forum. <br />None. <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of December 13, 2022. A Motion to approve the <br />minutes was made by Board Member Tyrone Hayden and seconded by Board Member <br />William Walker. Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. <br />4. Receive Activity Report from Glee Ernmite regarding City Maps. Noted that as soon as <br />maps are printed they become out of date, things change. Maps are printed annually at a <br />cost of approximately $700 for 500 maps. Glee proposed the free app Distrix, a national <br />resource, is promoted more. Maps are passed out to the hotels. Question was asked, <br />"Could the Chamber of Commerce share the cost using their hotel tax?" Cheri Bedford <br />highlighted Georgetown, Texas uses a single sheet map. Glee Emmite and Tracy <br />Dougherty volunteered to update Kari Daniel and Marvin Gorley with current businesses <br />and locations downtown. William Walker needs current log in information to update <br />Distrix. Murals and activities can be added. Glee will send him professional photos of <br />murals. Discuss with Chad Lindsey to work on walking tour of downtown. <br />
