Discussion of the same owner's properties coming to commission over and over. <br />Robert explained we are taking them to court and abatement their properties and <br />filing liens on them. <br />Motion made by Richard Thompson, seconded by Chris Fitzgerald, to follow <br />staff recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />B. 335 E Cherry; City Block 60-B, Lot 9A <br />Owner: Joe Moten 1443 Lynton Ave Wilmington, CA 90744 <br />Robert has had contact with Joe Moten. <br />Robert Talley talked to Mr. Moten and he said that Thomas Moten has not rights to <br />be on the property. Mr. Moten has filed criminal trespass against Thomas Moten <br />with the Paris Police Department. Joe is doing everything he can to get the property <br />cleaned up. Thomas Moten is living on the property in a camper. Joe started living <br />in his truck on the property, then stayed in a tent and now a camper. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, remove camper and junk <br />and rubbish within 30 days, or city has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Kim Walker, seconded by Mike Folmar, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />C. S Main; City Block 2, Lot 5-A <br />Owner: We Reit LLC TLLC PO Box 876 Paris, TX 75461-0876 <br />No contact from owner this time but usually we do. This is a Harrison and Walker <br />business. <br />Robert Talley stated that this is a vacant lot downtown, no structure on lot but loose <br />bricks on walls on the front north corner and if they fall it will fall on the sidewalk. <br />There are other loose bricks throughout the structure. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, remove or repair wall <br />bricks within 30 days, if not this will come back to the commission. <br />Motion made by Richard Thompson, seconded by Mike Folmar, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />G. 731 SE 3''d; City Block 146, Lot 1 <br />Owner: Obrien McDonald 731 SE 3rd Paris, TX 75460 <br />No Contact <br />Robert Talley stated that the structure caught on fire last November or December. <br />This structure is a total loss, the roof is caved and collapsed. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, remove rubbish and <br />demo structure within 30 days, or city has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Richard Thompson, seconded by Chris Fitzgerald, to follow <br />
