Add Section 712.4.3, Dual pump system, to read as follows: <br />712.4.3 Dual pump system. All sumps shall be automatically discharged and, <br />when in any "public use" occupancy where the sump serves more than 10 fixture <br />units, shall be provided with dual pumps or ejectors arranged to function <br />independently in case of overload or mechanical failure. For storm drainage <br />sumps and pumping systems, see Section 1113. <br />Amend Section 713.1, Design of drainage system, to read as follows: <br />713.1 Design of drainage system. The sizing, design and layout of the drainage <br />system shall be to be designed by a registered engineer using approved computer <br />design methods. <br />Amend Section 903.1.1, Roof extension unprotected, to read as follows: <br />903.1.1 Roof extension unprotected. Open vent pipes that extend through a <br />roof shall terminate not less than six (6l inches (152 mm) above the roof. <br />Delete Section 1109, COMBINED SANITARYAND STORM PUBLIC SEWER, in its entirety. <br />Amend Section 1202.1 Nonflammable medical gases, by deleting Exceptions 1 and 2. <br />§ 4.02.124 through § 4.02.150. (Reserved)" <br />Section 6. That Chapter 4, "Building Regulations," Article 4.02, "Construction <br />Codes," Division 6, "Fuel Gas Code," as it now exists shall be and is hereby repealed and <br />replaced with the following text: <br />"Division 6 <br />Fuel Gas Code <br />§ 4.02.151 Adopted. <br />(a) Definition. For purposes of this section, "fuel gas code" shall mean the 2019 2021 <br />International Fuel Gas Code (sometimes referred to as the IFGC) including any and all <br />amendments or revisions or revised additions to the 2019 2021 International Fuel Gas <br />Code. <br />(b) Adoption. The r 2021 International Fuel Gas Code, including appendices A, B, C and <br />D (which are informational only and which shall only be used for reference), is hereafter <br />adopted as the municipal fuel gas code for the city. The r 2021 International Fuel <br />Gas Code shall apply to regulation and governance of fuel gas systems and gas-fired <br />appliances as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of <br />fees therefor; and providing for the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and <br />terms set forth therein. <br />Me <br />
