MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />107 EAST KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16,2023,5:30 P.M. <br />I. The Airport Advisory Board was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Airport Manager Paul Strahan. <br />Members present: Scott Jackson, Jeffrey Nichols, and LeAndra Mau ,hon. <br />City Representatives: Council Member Gary Savage; Assistant City Manager Robert Vine; Airport <br />Manager Paul Strahan <br />2. Citizen's Input. <br />No one spoke during the citizen's forum. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />The November 17, 2422, minutes needed approval, motion made to approve the minutes by Jeffrey <br />Nichols and seconded by LeAndra Maughon. <br />4. Receive Report from. the Airport Manager. <br />o Hangar Waiting List / Hangar Lease Policy Vacancy Period Update <br />During the last airport board meeting, the board agreed the Hangar Lease Policy Vacancy Period <br />needed to, be reduce from 180 days to 90 days. This matter was presented before City Council on <br />December 12, 2022. City Council passed the agenda item, the Hangar Lease Policy Vacancy <br />Period now states 90 days. <br /># Runway Project Meeting Update <br />The runway meeting with TXDOThappened December 1, 2023, meeting went well. Guesstimate <br />for the project to start is summertime, no date set as of yet. City is required to match 10% <br />financially of the overall cost of the project. 'chis 10% was placed into the FY 23 budget but did <br />need City Council approval for release of funds. On December 12, 2022, this matter was presented <br />to council; release of the funds was passed. Airport is currently waiting to be invoiced for the <br />project. <br />* Crack -seal on RWY 17135 <br />With a new fiscal year, RAMPfunds were used to clean up and crack seal four separate areas on <br />the shoulders of the main runway. J&L Paving did the work,; work started and completed around <br />the week after Thanksgiving. Before and after pictures were presented to the Airport Board. <br /># North Taxi -Lane Extension Interest <br />
