The airport was approached from a private party to extend the North taxi -lane, doing so would
open up areas of land to build around, I I additional hangars. The private party wants to pay out of
pocket to extend the taxi -lane plus build hangars parallel to the taxi -lane and sell those hangars as
people want to buy privately own hangars, Being that the private party is paying out of pocket they
will need to hire an engineering firm to get this accomplished.
* Fuel Farm Painting
Using RAMP, funds, the airport got both fuel cabinets and piping repainted. Both cabinets were re-
decaled. Both fuel cabinets were very rusted and decals were faded.
e Application for Funding
FAA notified all DOT's of an overage of money. DOT's sent a mass email to all airports letting
them know if there were any construction projects that airports were needing done to submit an
application prior to January 31, 2023, for consideration. The airport submitted an application for
LED lighting upgrade for the airfield. FAA will notify the airport late April / early May if Cox
Field is selected for the project. This FAA project will be a 90/10 match; upgrade construction
would start in 2024.
5.
