Discuss, conduct a public hearing and act on ORDINANCE NO. 2023-025: AN <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />APPROVING AND ADOPTING REVISIONS TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />AND FUTURE LAND USE MAP FOR THE CITY OF PARIS AS IT PERTAINS TO <br />CITY BLOCK 311, PART OF LOT 11 (6.9 ACRES), LOCATED AT 3500 <br />CLARKSVILLE STREET (LOAD 102995), FROM OFFICE (0) TO HIGH DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL (HDR), IN THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS <br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING A REPEALER <br />CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />City Planner Andrew Mack said Springlake Baptist Church had requested an amendment <br />to the Future Land Use Map from an Office use to a High Density Residential land use. He also <br />said that Planning and Zoning recommended approval, as did staff. <br />Mayor Hughes opened the public hearing and asked for anyone wishing to speak in <br />support or opposition of this item, to please come forward. With no one speaking, Mayor <br />Hughes closed the public hearing. <br />Council Member Savage inquired what could be built under High Density Residential <br />use. Mr. Mack said apartments could be built. <br />
