Regular Council Meeting <br />June 26, 2023 <br />Page 9 <br />Airport Advisory Board — Council Member Savage volunteered to serve on this board. <br />Board of Adjustment — Council Member Kessel volunteered to serve on this board. <br />Building & Standards Commission — Council Member Savage volunteered to serve on <br />this board. <br />Historic Preservation Commission — Council Member Norment volunteered to serve on <br />this commission. <br />Library Advisory Board — Council Member Moore volunteered to serve on this board. <br />Main Street Advisory Board — Mayor Hughes volunteered to serve on this board. He also <br />said Council might want to consider placing Mayor Pro -Tem Pankaj on a board as a liaison. <br />Planning & Zoning Commission — Council Member Savage volunteered for this <br />commission and said he was fine Mayor Pro -Tem Pankaj also serving as a liaison to this board. <br />TIRZ — Council decided to wait until they had enough applicants to fill this board. <br />Traffic Commission — Mayor Hughes volunteered to serve on this commission. <br />Ark -Tex Council of Governments — Council Member Moore volunteered to serve on this <br />board. <br />VC&C — Council said Mayor Pro -Tem Pankaj had been serving on this board so they <br />suggested he continue to serve as the liaison. <br />Love Civic Center — Council Member Pilgrim volunteered to serve on this board. <br />24. Convene into executive session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government <br />Code, Consultation with Attorney to receive legal advice from the City Attorney about <br />(1) pending or contemplated litigation and/or (2) on matters in which the duty of an <br />attorney to her client under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the <br />State Bar of Texas clearly conflict with this chapter, to -wit: City of Paris v. Essent <br />Healthcare. <br />Mayor Hughes convened City Council into executive session at 7:00 p.m. <br />25. Reconvene into open session and possibly act on those matters discussed in executive <br />session. <br />Mayor Hughes reconvened City Council into open session at 7:33 p.m. and said there was <br />no action to be taken. <br />
