Leaning severely to one side. No contact with property owner. Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo of shed within 30 days, or city has right to do so. Motion made by Richard Thompson, seconded by Reeves Hayter, to follow staff recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 D. 1523 11t" St NE; East Park Block D, Lot 10 Owner: Homer Mason, Jr., c/o Misty Mason, 1819 Gravley Dr., Carrollton TX 75006 Robert Talley stated Jacie Sparks, Community Development Secretary, spoke with owner's daughter, Misty Mason. Called to say she doesn't live here; last time she saw house, it was in bad condition. Wants nothing to do with the house; agrees it needs to be demoed. Junk and rubbish in back. Tree growing into side of house. Main problem is a section of house so rotted out it has caused the floor to collapse. This has caused water collection inside the house. Pier and beam house, but house is on the ground. Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or city has right to do so. Motion made by Kim Walker, seconded by Mike Folmar, to follow staff recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 G. 737 Cedar; Gibbons Park Block 3, W V222 & 22A Owner: Ruth Bosarge Stephens, 1031 Old Bynum Rd A, Hillsboro TX 76645 Robert Talley stated structure remaining on property appears to have been an add-on to main house. Owners demoed main part of house, but left this section. No contact with owner. Completely falling in on itself. Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or city has right to do so. Motion made by Reeves Hayter, seconded by Richard Thompson, to follow staff recommendation.
