Connie would like the profit to be put <br />toward programming. <br />There is also new programing coming to the library in September, with ASL <br />certification classes, beginner's sewing, and a Halloween costume swap. Connie <br />is also adding Comics Plus to the library data base, which will have a large variety <br />of graphic novels to check out. <br />V. Friends of the Library Report: <br />There were no updates from the Friends for this meeting. <br />VI. Director's Remarks: <br />Connie said that her remarks were included in the New Business items. <br />VII. Statistics and Financials Report: <br />Connie stated that she decided to include the staff in the statistic reports and have <br />found that the staff appreciated the proof of their work. DeEtte Cobb commented, <br />saying that if it weren't for the staff, the library wouldn't have the positive numbers <br />that it does. <br />a. Circulation is up by 9.58% since 2022. Reference Assistance is at 208, Internet <br />Usage is at 376, Computer Instruction is at 393, and Online Account Log -ins are <br />at 393. <br />b.
