Foundation damage and the walls are separating from outside <br />wall as well as holes in the floor. There is also junk and rubbish on property. Mr. <br />Freeman's son, Corey, spoke on his behalf of his father stating the property was in the <br />process to be sold. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, remove <br />junk and rubbish within 30 days or city has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Richard Thompson, seconded by Kim Walker, to table demo orders <br />due to the property possibly being under contract to sell, remove junk and rubbish <br />within 30 days or city has right to do so. Motion carried. 4-1 <br />C. 744 NW 3`d; City Block 79, Block B, Lot 1 <br />Owner: David Deleon; 1717 Connor Drive, Dallas, TX 75217 <br />Robert Talley reported various structural issues, including a leaning structure with <br />roof and floor holes, as well as missing and deteriorated wood. The property's rear <br />section was cluttered with branches, brush, junk, and debris. Mr. Talley confirmed <br />that Mr. Deleon acknowledges the necessity of demolishing the structure, a task he <br />intends to undertake personally. The owner was present and spoke on behalf of the <br />property, requesting 90 days. Mr. Deleon aims to clear the site of the structure, along <br />with the branches, brush, junk, and debris. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 90 days, or city <br />has right to do so. Removal of brush, limbs within 90 days or city has right to do so. <br />Removal of junk and rubbish within 90 days or city has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Ken Kohls, seconded by Brandon Kearney, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />B. 228 SW 2nd; City Block 176, Lot 22 <br />Owner: James & Paul Wesley Family LTD; PTRSHIP 530 NE l0a', Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated the owner is in agreement that the structure needs to be <br />demolished. The roof has collapsed into the building. The north side of building is <br />bowing out. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days or city <br />has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Ken Kohls, seconded by Reeves Hayter, to follow staff <br />recommendation.
