MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD 107 EAST KAUFMAN STREET PARISt TEX THURSDA.-H�V FEBRUARY 15.2024.5:30 P -M. I. The Airport Advisory Board was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Airport Manager Paul Strahan. Members present: LeAndra M.aughon and Jeffrey Nichols. City Representatives: Councilman Gary Savage, Assistant City Manager Manager Paul Shahan -; Robert Vine, and Airport 2. Citizen's Input. No one spoke during the citizen's (arum. I Approval ol'Minutes The November 16, 2023, minutes needed approval, motion made to approve the minutes by LeAndra Maughon and seconded by Jeffrey Nichols. 4. ReceiveReport from the Airport Manager. 9 New Merchandise for the Airport Over the winter. the airport picked up new merchandise to sell. Airport called around to di-fferent airports to see what type of merchandise sells better than others. With no clear answer, the airport used local. companies to obtain key chains, tumblers, and hats all advertising the airport. The airport wanted to receive these items prior to the fly - in whichvv-as easily done. Re -ordering merchandise will depend on how well each item sells. * Airfield Signage - Replacement Panals Received taxiway and runway replacement panels Just prior to Christmas. all panels were installed in January 2024, Through the TXDOT RAMP Grant. TXD0T will pay 9'0% of the invoice, These new panels should last around 10 years. * Terminal Entrance Sign The airport will be receiving entry -,ay signs for the terminal, both front and rear. The airport is using a local graphics company to vet the work done,'Ibe signs will be on the terminal prior to the fly - in scheduled for April 20, 2024. Due to the fact the terminal has never had entry way signs, 90 % of the total cost will be covered under the TXDOT RAMP Grant. & Custom Rugs for Terminal Due to the new logo. the airport ordered Nonew rugs displaying the new logo. Each rug is placed just inside the entry way in the terminal.
