Citizen forum: <br />Board Members: Greg Kee, Glee Emmite, Tyrone Hayden, Seth <br />Johnson, Melissa Jones <br />City Representatives: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager; <br />Rob Vine, Deputy City Manager; <br />Board members: Kari Daniel, William Walker <br />No one presented at citizens forum. <br />2. Review minutes from the March meeting: <br />A motion was made to approve the meeting minutes by Emmite. Motion was <br />seconded by Hayden. 6 ayes, 0 nays <br />3. Committee Reports; <br />a. Suzy Harper is welcoming more ideas for lighting on the poles/ banner standards. <br />b. VCC & Chamber - 903 Sun Sets is a rapidly growing success with the largest <br />attendance numbers to date. Chamber is also gearing up for the Tour de Paris, July <br />P0 <br />c. PDA - Emmite reported that all leftover eclipse glasses were donated to a local high <br />school student who is sharing them with other parts of the world. She again noted <br />that Paris Coffee Downtown is the newest PDA member and the Corner Cafe will <br />open soon. Preparation for 2024 Mannequin Night is underway, including a Special <br />Events permit request. <br />d. Main street events - Across the state of Texas, Eclipse numbers were less than <br />expected, mostly due to weather. Paris welcomed approximately 10, 000 visitors. <br />Re: Winefest 2024, much positive feedback had been received. Between 16K and <br />17K was made from this sold -out event. One participating winery mentioned that <br />
