Building and Standards Meeting <br />July 15, 2024 <br />Page 2 <br />D. 1650 W Campbell; Maxey Addition, Block 5, Lot 12 <br />Owner: Adlinellughes; 1650 W Campbell. Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated that the carport is collapsing and is pulling part of the roof off <br />of the main structure. There are holes in the rood and the structure is unsecure. The <br />siding is rotting. There is missing/deteriorated wood, and the floor is buckling with <br />missing flooring in some areas. <br />There was discussion amongst the board with the owner's daughter regarding the <br />heirship of the property and the time frame that the structure has been in this <br />condition. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days or city <br />has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Ken Kohls seconded by Brandon Kearney, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />A. 623 SE 6t"; City of Paris, Block 163, Lot 5 <br />Owner: Roddy Cal & Mickie Dudley; 935 SE 6"'. Paris, TX 75460 <br />The board decided to table this until the August meeting due to the owner in the <br />process of selling property. <br />Motion made by Ken Kohls, seconded by Chris Fitzgerald, to table until August <br />meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />B. 820 Clarksville; City of Paris, Block 110 Lot 5 <br />Owner: Saviors Saving Souls INC; 18208 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated that the structure is unsecure and there is graffiti throughout the <br />property. There is also junk and rubbish throughout the property as well. <br />There was discussion amongst the board, city representatives, and Mayor Pankaj <br />regarding the future plans for the property. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, removal of Unk and rubbish <br />and graffiti within 30 days, secure structure within 14 days, or city has the right to do <br />SO. <br />Motion made by Brandon Kearney, seconded by Ken Kohls, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />
