There were no <br />questions. <br />Update and Discussion on 2023-2025 PEDC Plan of Work <br />Ms. Hammond presented the preliminary 2023-2025 PEDC Plan of Work, reminding the Board that in <br />accordance with the PEDC Bylaws, the PEDC is required to submit a plan of work alongside the 2024- <br />2025 budget. She expressed that no action would be taken at this meeting and requested that all board <br />members review the Plan of Work and provide feedback prior to the July 12, 2024, PEDC Planning <br />Session. She concluded by noting that the 2023-2025 Plan of Work would be presented to the board for <br />approval during the Planning Session. <br />Chairman Bray opened the floor to questions regarding the 2023-2025 Plan of Work. There were no <br />questions. <br />Report and Updates by Executive Director Maureen Hammond <br />NW Industrial Park EDA Grant: Ms. Hammond noted that weather had been more favorable recently, <br />allowing contractors to make considerable progress on construction. She presented aerial views of <br />current construction in the NW Industrial Park, stating that forms are projected to be set on all areas in <br />the coming weeks. <br />Paris Housing Market Analysis 2023: Ms. Hammond reported that Catalyst Commercial had completed <br />the housing market analysis. She noted that a presentation of the analysis would be presented to City <br />Council and the Planning & Zoning Commission during a joint workshop scheduled for July 11, 2024. <br />TIRZ Zone 1: Ms. Hammond reported that during a previous TIRZ meeting in June, the advisory board <br />took action to appoint a subcommittee to move forward with engaging a TIRZ consultant. She concluded <br />by noting that the PEDC Board would be informed as the process moves forward. <br />Mr. Bray opened the floor to questions regarding the report and updates by Executive Director Maureen <br />Hammond. There were no questions. <br />Convene into Executive Session: <br />1) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to (1) discuss or deliberate <br />regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received <br />from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have to locate, stay, or <br />expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental <br />body is conducting economic development negotiations; or (2) to deliberate the offer of a <br />financial or another incentive to a business prospect described by Subdivision (1), to wit: <br />a) Project Lightening <br />b) Project Blue Fire <br />c) Project Clydesdale <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
