J, I I Z III III *K61 9 THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING July 30, 2024 The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas Board of Commissioners met for a REGULAR BOARD MEETING at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, 650 7th SW — Office, Conference Room, Paris, Texas 75460. Present: Board Members: Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman Steve Smith Joseph Nelms Stacy Ladell Bill Harmon, Resident Commissioner City Representatives: Mihir Pankaj, Mayor Gary Savage, Mayor Pro -Tem Housing Authority Employees: Stacia Waters, Executive Director/Secretary Pam Adams, Financial Director Patricia Pridemore, Program Manager Other: None Absent: Board Members: None Call Meeting to Order: Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, called the meeting to order at 10:02 a,m. 2. Establish Quorum: Vice Chairman Wilson dispensed with the roil call and stated the sign -in sheet (Attachment #1) would be maintained as the official record of attendance for the meeting. The sign - in sheet reflects that the above Board Commissioners and community members were in attendance and that a quorum was present to conduct business. A Motion to approve the Sign -In Sheet was made by Commissioner Smith and seconded by Board Commissioner Nelms. Motion carried; 5 ayes — 0 nays. 3. Recognition of New Board Members: Stacy Ladell, Joseph Nelms, Bill Harmon 4. Hold Annual Meeting —Elect Officers; Commissioner Smith nominated Jenny Wilson as Chairman; Vote: 5 ayes — 0 nays, Chairman Wilson nominated Commissioner Smith for Vice -Chairman; Vote: 5 ayes — 0 nays. 5. Citizens' Forum: No one present or requested to speak. 6. Approve Minutes from the meeting of June 18, 2024. A Motion to approve this item was made by Vice Chairman Smith and seconded by Commissioner Ladell. Motion carried, 5 ayes — 0 nays.
