1.3 Related Experience/Backgroundi eci i azar <br />Mitigation it Project Types <br />The GrantWorks Team has successfully assisted local governments with numerous <br />state and federal HMA grant programs, including FEMA's HMGP, BRIC, PDM, and FMA <br />programs. GrantWorks provided administration, management, and/or planning services for <br />the following project types. <br />0� Brazoria County - Homeowner elevations <br />0� Brazoria County - Homeowner reconstructions <br />0� Galveston County - Homeowner elevations <br />After Hurricane Harvey substantially damaged at least 435 residential <br />properties, Brazoria County engaged GrantWorks to provide pre -award <br />grant application assistance and post -award grant administration and <br />project management services to address the devastation. <br />GrantWorks worked closely with the County to identify and select eligible <br />at -risk properties and to obtain all documentation and data required to <br />apply for funding, which resulted in a $30 million FEMA HMGP award to <br />elevate and reconstruct 300 flood -prone homes. <br />Upon award, our experienced staff helped procure contractors, draft <br />necessary contracts and agreements, and manage the grant scope, <br />schedule, and budget. GrantWorks will produce and manage project -re- <br />lated documentation that meets state and federal regulatory standards <br />and see that required reporting is submitted promptly and accurately. <br />The project management team confirms that homes meet FEMAs pre -ap- <br />proved Benefit -Cost Effectiveness standard of $175,000 and conducts <br />Benefit -Cost Analysis for prop- <br />erties that fall outside of the <br />FEMA parameter.
