<br />Kent led the effort to rapidly assemble and deploy a team of 300+ professionals support-
<br />ing TDHCA's efforts to administer over $1.9 billion in COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance
<br />Program funds allocated by the US Treasury. His team worked with applicant households to clear
<br />over 40,000 backlogged applications within the first three months of deployment. Under Ken's lead-
<br />ership, the team secured funding totaling $560 million for 131,000 Texas households in eight months. As
<br />a result, TRRP became the highest -performing rental assistance program in the country and the first to
<br />distribute $1 billion in assistance.
<br />Kent served as practice leader for CohnReznick's Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery team—
<br />growing the practice from fewer than 10 employees to more than 120 employees supporting 2,000+
<br />sub -recipients recovering from disasters across four states.

<br />Kent led a team of over 100 professionals serving as the prime contractor to TDEM for the Grant Ad-
<br />ministration of FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) awards. His team
<br />established consistent oversight and monitoring standards, provided proactive technical assistance and
<br />communication, project and disaster closeouts, centralized data and reporting, and addressed reim-
<br />bursements and financial management for over 2,500 sub -recipients across 20+ disaster events. Un-
<br />der his leadership, the team reviewed and processed 9,000+ payment requests for over $5 billion and
<br />closed out over 11,000 projects.

<br />Kent led a team to perform complex grant coordination, financial and programmatic compliance, techni-

<br />Commonwealth of Massachusetts for COVID-19. The team was responsible for applicant outreach, train-
<br />ing, technical assistance, and performing project reviews. During this engagement, they also developed
<br />a grant management system solution using Commonwealth's SharePoint platform.
