He believes the previous squatter, <br />Christopher Thomas, is now gone. There is severe fire damage to the property and <br />someone has pulled off the metal roofing off. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demolition and vacate <br />within 30 days, secure within 14 days, or the city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Ken Kohis, to follow staff recommendation. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />J. 404 NE I I Ih ; City Block 70, Lot 13-B <br />Owner: Mitchell Duford Jr; 617 5t" NE, Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated there is extensive fire damage, broken windows, and minor <br />foundation damage throughout the structure. The structure is a total burnout. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demolition, vacate, and <br />removal of junk and rubbish within 30 days. <br />Motion made by Chris Fitzgerald, seconded by Kim Walker, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />K. 808 SE 17"'; City Block 112-17, Lot 7 <br />Owner: Shalom Sasson; 1042 Warber Lane, Aubrey, TX 76227 <br />Robert Talley stated this is a rental property. The roof is leaking and the owner has <br />put tarps on but no repairs have been made. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, repair within 30 days or <br />will be brought back to the commission. <br />Motion made by Ken Kohis, seconded by Kim Walker, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />K. 2636 E Cherry; City of Paris, Block 257-C, Lot 3 <br />Owner: Anne 0 Jones; 2636 E Cherry, Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated the owner is deceased. The brother of the owner stated to Mr. <br />Talley be is probating the will. This have been to Buildings and Standards for roof <br />repair orders but none have been made. Mr. Talley is bringing this back to the <br />commission to determine what should be done next. <br />
