The role also serves as a liaison between city departments, technica l <br />teams, and the public to ensure effective communication and program implementation. <br />Essential Duties <br />• Support the Planning & Community Development Department as a training and development analyst, assisting in the gathering <br />and documentation of technical and functional requirements from various city departments. <br />• Participate in planning and developing specialized training, staff development and occasionally customized and technology-based <br />training. Attend meetings with key users to understand operational needs and propose viable technology solutions. <br />• Help bridge communication between technical teams and user departments to ensure project alignment with organizational <br />goals. <br />• Research, develop, review and assess training programs and materials. Maintaining accurate records and write detailed reports as <br />applicable. <br />• Long range housing projects. <br />• Communicate with the public regarding housing programs. <br />• Prepare forms and articles for in-house publications. <br />• Other duties assigned by the Director of Planning & Community Development. <br />Minimum Qualifications <br />Experience in customer service, clerical, administrative, or technical support work, one to two years of secretarial or cleri cal experience or <br />any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. <br />Graduation from high school/GED <br />Two-year college or equivalent is generally preferred <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
