There being none, a Motion to approve the consent agenda was <br />made by Mayor Pro -Tem Savage and seconded by Council Member Moore. Motion carried, 6 <br />ayes — 0 nays. <br />5. Approve minutes from the meeting of July 28, 2025. <br />6. Receive reports and/or minutes from the following boards and commissions :° <br />a. Housing Authority of the City of Paris (4-22-2025 & 5-20-2025) <br />b. Board of Adjustment (5-6-2025) <br />7. Receive the June & July drainage reports. <br />8. Receive the 2025 tax appraisal roll from the Lamar County Appraisal District. <br />9. Receive the 2025 Tax Rate Calculations as required by Texas Property Tax Reform and <br />Transparency Act of 2019. <br />10. Confirm the appointment of Allan Hubbard to serve the unexpired term of Joseph Nelms <br />on the Paris Housing Authority Board. <br />11. Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2025-037: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER <br />CONTRACTS FOR THE HOMEOWNER RECONSTRUCTION ASSISTANCE <br />PROGRAM THROUGH THE HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM <br />FUND FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY <br />AFFAIRS (TDHCA). <br />12. Approve the Agreement with New Gen for strategic financial planning services in an <br />amount not to exceed $15,000.00. <br />Re ular A ends <br />13. Discuss and act on RESOLUTION NO. 2025-038: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND TAX ABATEMENT <br />AGREEMENT WITH LINDA CHENEY PURSUANT TO THE 5 IN 5 HOUSING <br />INFILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />
