Building and Standards Meeting <br />July 21, 2025 <br />Page 4 <br />Structure A — Robert Talley stated that the structure is secure, has a good roof <br />structure, needs siding, and has some small rot but not major. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demolition of structure <br />C within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so; repair structure A and B <br />within 90 days or will be brought back to commission. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Alexander Moore, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />G. 1138 Fitzhugh; Fitzhugh Addition, Block 1, Lot 4 <br />Owner: Carlton Cooper; 646 Fitzhugh, Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated this structure needs foundation work but it has a new roof. <br />Owner plans to repair this structure. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, repair structure within <br />90 days or will be brought back to commission. <br />Motion made by Kim Walker, seconded by Angie Briscoe, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />H. 1150 Fitzhugh; City of Paris, Block 1, Lot 3 <br />Owner: Carlton Cooper; 646 Fitzhugh, Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated this structure has roof damage, the ceiling and walls have <br />collapsed, it is unsecure, and the foundation is sinking. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demolition of structure <br />within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Angie Briscoe, to follow staff <br />recommendation.
