Building and Standards Meeting <br />July 21, 2025 <br />Page 2 <br />A. 335-349 Woodlawn, city Block 117, Lot 110 & 10-A <br />Owner: Randy & Jane Binnion; PO Box 168, Pattonville, TX 75468 <br />Robert Talley stated the structure has severe fire damage, foundation damage, and is <br />completely gutted. Owner Jane Binnion emailed Code Enforcement and let them <br />know they plan to start demolition next month. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demolition of structure <br />and removal of junk and rubbish within 30 days, vacate within 30 days or the <br />city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by, Angie Briscoe, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />B. 548 NE I", City Block 92, Lot 4 <br />Owner: Georgia Washington; C/O Yolanda Washington: 824 7t" NE, Paris, TX <br />75460 <br />Robert Talley stated there has been no contact with the owner. The structure has holes <br />in the roof, foundation damage, rotting wood, and is sinking. There is a shed located <br />behind this structure that has damage from a fallen tree. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demolition of both <br />structures and removal of junk and rubbish within 30 days, vacate within 30 <br />days or the city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Angie Briscoe, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />C. 856 E Houston, City Block 92, Lot 4 <br />Owner Freddie & Vincel Baker; 857 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated the property owner has contacted code officer Jacie Brown and <br />has permits on another property. Mr. Freddie Baker would like to repair this structure <br />but wants to start after the other is finished. The structure rotted wood on the front <br />porch, holes in the roof, fallen tree damage, foundation damage. <br />There was discussion amongst the board and staff regarding the price of renovation. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Repair within 90 days, remove Vegetation <br />within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Angie Briscoe, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />
