It is our understanding that the scope of services for this engagement will <br />include the following: <br />■ For the City's contract customers, conduct a COS study in accordance with the contractual terms; <br />■ Perform a COS study for the City's retail water and wastewater customers; <br />■ Discuss with City staff the preliminary findings from the COS studies; <br />■ As may be requested, meet collectively with the City's contract customers to explain the COS <br />development and corresponding rates; <br />■ Develop a final report of findings and recommendations; and <br />■ Present findings of the Study to the City Council. <br />Based on our understanding of the services to be provided, NewGen estimates the price to perform the <br />above scope of services at $36,500. NewGen invoices its clients monthly for actual hours worked at our <br />then -applicable hourly billing rates, plus out-of-pocket expenses incurred at cost, with payment due <br />within ten (10) days of receipt.
