The ownership, energy, and support of the results will help propel the project <br />through its next steps towaids'Implernebtafton and serve as a proactive "roadmap," giving Paris the confidence to <br />make informed choices regaittnotheir dow6t6wn's future. <br />4.1 Two-Wav Restoration <br />Two-way restoration of the existingone-way pairs will have the single greatest impact on the walkability and <br />vibrancy of downtown. Basedon the information garnered from Task 2 and 3, Lambka Associates will develop up <br />to three (3) altemetNe street cross sections for evaluation. Alternatives will be based on existing conditions, city <br />staff desire, and national best practices. The alternative cross sections will be presented to city staff and other <br />appropriate officials virtually. At the conclusion of the meeting, city staff will select one cross section as the <br />preferred typical section to move forward. It is anticipated that the two-way restoration of Main Street, 1st Street, <br />Lamar Avenue, and Clarksville Street will all have one typical section for the downtown core transect and one for <br />the urban transact. <br />Following the selection of typical cross sections, Lambka Associates will develop a conceptual two-way <br />restoration master plan of the existing one-way pairs to approximately a 5% design level.
