Vetted volunteers such as board members would be asked to drive the bookmobile. Friends of the Paris Public Librarywould be asked to assist in some funding to wrap the bus with a design and possibly a memorialfor Mrs. Rhodes. Maintenance and fuel costs would be included in future library budgets. It is possiblethat additional fundraisers would be needed to help outfitthevehicle with a ramp forthe book cart and ADAcompliance features. The proposed cost of this project is $80,000. 6. The Rhodes Gallery: The library staff felt that a way to help honor the large financial gift bestowed upon the library and the people it services would be to rename the gallery as the Rhodes Gallery. Connie noted that the new furniture in the gallerywould be paid for from library budget and a plaque mentioning her contribution would be placed in the gallery.
