KAUFMAN ST. <br />February 10, 2026 <br />Present: Kim Kalina, Tyrone Hayden, Mary Hart, <br />Glee Emmite <br />City Representatives: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager <br />Rose Beverly, City Manager <br />Absent: Will Walker, Melissa Jones, Kevin Moore, Karen Dougherty/VCC Representative <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />..Co -Chairman, Mary Hart, called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m. She shared the Vision and <br />Mission statements. <br />2. Citizen Forum: <br />No one came forward to speak <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of January 19, 2026. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Board Member Kim Kalina and seconded by <br />Board Member Glee Emmitte. Motion carried, 4 ayes _O_ nays. <br />4. Committee Reports: <br />A Workplan Updates from Committee Members: <br />Kim Kalina- attended the city council meeting regarding city-wide strategic planning. <br />Shared the evaluation with Cheri on our progress of transformational goals. Currently <br />involved in Paris Art Movement Meetings to discuss the Fair. As far as the Wine Festival, <br />she will continue to assist with social media. <br />Mary Hart- Made rounds with Cheri Bedford to discuss WineFest and any downtown issues <br />with local downtown businesses. Also working on the Paris Area Arts Alliance Art Fair. <br />Main Street is a partner for this event. <br />Tyrone Hayden- nothing to report <br />Glee Emmite- Busy signing up wineries for the WineFest in April. 85% successful. Contacted <br />the 8th and 9th today. <br />Historic Preservation Commission: have not met for 2 months, but the next meeting is <br />scheduled for tomorrow with the new commissioner and they plan to approve grants. Paris <br />Downtown Association- Misti Scott, president, discussed a successful season for <br />downtown businesses. They recently hosted the Chocolate Stroll. In February, there will <br />be officer's meetings to get events for the year out on social media earlier so they can have <br />a larger crowd. March 14th- mini golf event planned that is family friendly. The downtown <br />merchant of the month program is going strong. They receive a sandwich board for the <br />month advertising that they are the business of the month as well as a 100.00 gift certificate <br />from their business to give away. PDA is partnering with Main Street for the WineFest. <br />
