Building and Standards Meeting <br />February 16, 2026 <br />Page 3 <br />D. 1051 NW 8th; E S Conner Addition Block 1, Lot 12 <br />Owner: Ruth Teal; 6003 Seacomber PI, San Antonio, TX 78242 <br />Nicki Brown stated the structure has severe fire damage and is not able to be <br />rehabilitated. There is junk and rubbish throughout the property. There has been <br />no contact with the property owner. We had previously taken this property to BSC <br />but the publishing was not done in the allotted timeframe. <br />Nicki Brown's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, vacate property within <br />30 days, demolish structure within 30 days, removal of junk and rubbish <br />within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Morgan Cline, seconded by Jesse Wallace JR, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />E. 1065 11th NE, City Block 175, Lot 12 <br />Owner: 1507 California LLC; PO Box 573036, Houston, TX 77257 <br />Nicki Brown stated the structure has missing and deteriorated wood surrounding <br />it and is also sinking. There has been no contact with the property owner other <br />than an email which has not been responded to regarding rehabilitation plans. We <br />had previously taken this property to BSC for repairs but the publishing was not <br />done in the allotted tiuneframe. <br />Nicki Brown's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, vacate property within <br />30 days, demolish structure within 30 days, removal of junk and rubbish <br />within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Kim Walker, seconded by Jesse Wallace Jr, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />F. 1741 Cedar; Gibbons -Braden Addition Block 17, Lot 8 <br />Owner: Hunter Price Sr.; 908 Larue Drive, Cedar Hill, TX 75104 <br />Nicki Brown stated the structure has holes in the ceiling, holes in the side of the <br />house, missing and deteriorated wood, and is unsecure. There is junk and rubbish <br />throughout the property. There has been no contact with the property owner. We <br />had previously taken this property to BSC but the publishing was not done in the <br />allotted timeframe. <br />Nicki Brown's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, vacate property within <br />30 days, demolish structure within 30 days, removal of junk and rubbish <br />within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so. <br />
