DIVISION 2 <br />Building Code <br />§ 4.02.031. Adopted. <br />(a) Definition. For purposes of this division, "building code" shall mean the 2021 2024 <br />International Building Code (sometimes referred to as IBC), including any and all <br />amendments, revisions or revised additions to the 2823 2024 International Building <br />Code. <br />(b) Adoption., In conformance with Texas Local Government Code, chapter 214, subchapter <br />G, sections 214.211 through 214.214, the 2024: 2024 International Building Code, <br />including appendices A C, F, G, and I J, K N,_0 and P, is hereafter adopted as the <br />municipal building code for the city. The 2021 2024 International Building Code shall <br />apply to the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures by <br />providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and <br />conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation <br />and use and for the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human <br />occupancy and use and the demolition of such structures in the city. The city council <br />may establish procedures to adopt local amendments to the International Building Code <br />and for the administration and enforcement of the International Building Code. <br />(c) Copies on_file. Copies of the 2024 2024 International Building Code will be maintained <br />on file in the office of the planni^^ develepment depanmeFA Building Safety and <br />may be viewed online at https-ii..^, es ;r=rs'f^.^ ^i,.^a^' im eede 2021''^''^ <br />I..�., and the provisions thereof shall <br />be controlling as set out herein in the construction of all buildings and other structures <br />within the corporate limits of the city. <br />§ 4.02.032. Amendments. <br />The 2021 International Building Code adopted by section 4.02.031 shall be amended as set <br />forth in 04 -Fiance 20"-^12 Exhibit A - Attachment A, which is incorporated by reference as <br />if fully set forth herein. <br />§ 4.02.033. through § 4.03.060.
