This exemption also applies to stora a buildin s. Homeowners must rovide roof of homestead exemption. All other, re uirements of this code are still a licable. S. Exem tions for Commercial Owners Provided that a permit as re uired herein shall have first been obtained by the owner, owners erformin or mans in su ervisin the renovation and or re air of buildin or installin si ns that do not re uire en ineered lans on their own commercial ro ert as reflected b ublic records are exempt from the licensin rovision of this code.
