MINUTES OF TRE PARIS VISITORS AND CONVENTION COUNCIL MEETING

<br />The Paris Visitors and Convention Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 4:00 p.m. on March 16, 2026, at the
<br />Lamar County Chamber of Conunerce board room, 8 West Plaza, Paris, TX.
<br />Present: Board Members: Thomas McMonigle, Paul Strunc, Bradley Hilliard, Alicia Moore, Denise Moffitt, Lindsey
<br />Thorns, Brandon Kellum, Anwar Scott, and Kelh McDonald,
<br />City Representatives: none.
<br />Absent: Board Members: Lindsey Bounds, Cody Head, Josh Williams, Monica CIement, Brittany Iltis, Kristi Hearne, and
<br />Chadlee Johnston.
<br />1. Call meeting to order.
<br />Paul Allen called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
<br />2. Citizens' Forum. No one present.
<br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of February 2026. A motion to approve was made by Brandon Kellum, seconded
<br />by Bradley Hilliard. Motion carried. 9 ayes, 0 nays.
<br />4. Receive financial report of February 2026, by Kelli McDonald. A motion to approve was made by Thomas
<br />McMonigle, seconded by Lindsey Thorns. Motion carried. 9 ayes. 0 nays.
<br />5. Discuss and act on funding request for Paris Gravel Grinder, April 18, 2026. Based on the scoring criteria, a motion to
<br />approve $1675 was made by Bradley Hilliard, seconded by Thomas McMonigle. Motion carried. 9 ayes. 0 nays.
<br />6. Discuss and act on funding request for Archers for Christ, May 2-3, 2026. Based on the scoring criteria, a motion to
<br />approve $2300 was made by Denise Moffitt, seconded by Brandon Kellum. Motion carried. 9 ayes. 0 nays.
<br />7. Discuss and act on funding request for Slade Baker Crawfish cookoff, May 2-3, 2026. Based on the scoring
<br />criteria, a motion to approve $1750 was made by Denise Moffitt, seconded by Paul Struma Motion carried. 9 ayes. 0 nays.
<br />8. Discuss and act on funding request for Eiffel In Love Quilt Show, May 8-9 2026. Based on the scoring criteria, a
<br />motion to approve $2500 was made by Paul Strunc, seconded by Anwar Scott. Motion carried. 9 ayes. 0 nays.
<br />9. Discuss and act on funding request for Paris Art Fair, May 15-16, 2026. Based on the scoring criteria, a motion to
<br />approve $1550 was made by Brandon Kellum, seconded by Kelli McDonald. Motion carried. 9 ayes. 0 nays.
<br />10. Discuss and act on funding request for Texas Branvieh, April 16-18, 2026. Based on the scoring criteria, a motion to
<br />approve $1850 was made by Chadlee Johnston, seconded by Kelli McDonald. Motion carried. 9 ayes. 0 nays.
<br />11. Paul Allen gave an update, we bought a trolly. Casey Strong pump track event is March 28s'. Women Event on April
<br />15 with Carrie Hogue, JCP fashion show under Eiffel tower was a success.
<br />12. Karen gave an update on events.
<br />13. Adjourn.
<br />There being no further business, A Motion to adjourn was made by Board Member Anwar Scott seconded by Board
<br />Member Brandon Kellum.
<br />Motion carried, _9 ayes — 0 nays. Paul Allen, President, adjourned the meeting at 4:16 p.m.
