Chairman Turk called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. <br />2. Citizens' forum: no one was present to speak to the Citizens Forum <br />3. Review meeting minutes of March 11, 2026 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Coyle, seconded by Commissioner Emmite, motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />4. Discussion and possible action on the sign grant in the amount of $724.73. <br />a. Taco Queretaro 208 S. Main Street, Marvin Gorley <br />Mr. Gorley provided photos of the completed project and the receipts to validate the expenditure. <br />He was present to answer questions. Chairman Turk expressed the signage played off'the gas <br />station theme very well. Repurposing the existing signage was a plus. The commission had <br />positive feedback on the signage. Chairman Turk called for a motion. Commissioner Emmite <br />made a motion to approve theJa(ade grant as requested, seconded by Commissioner Kee, <br />Motion carried 6 Ayes, 0 nays. <br />5. Consent agenda: <br />The commission reviewed the following list of properties and determined they do not fit <br />the criteria as outlined in the Historic Preservation Ordinance Article 9.05.005 and cannot <br />be rehabilitated or designated on the National Register ot'Historic Places, as a recorded <br />Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the <br />City of Paris. <br />
