Approve minutes from the meetings of April 27, 2026. 6. Receive reports and/or minutes from the following boards and commissions: a. Paris Visitors & Convention Council (3-16-2026) b. Building & Standards Commission (3-20-2026) 7. Award the bid and authorize a contract to Superior Equipment Solutions, LLC in the amount of $575,000.00 ($500,000.00 will be funded from the TxCDBG Grant and $75,000.00 from the City) for the 28"' Street NW Sewer Main Improvements; and authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. 8. Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2026-019: Acknowledging the Results of Prior Council Action Declaring Candidates as Elected to Office for Council Districts 1, 2, 3, and 6 as a Result of Having Been Unopposed for Election to Office; and Declaring the Terms of Office for the aforesaid Candidates. Regular Agenda,__ 9. Recognition of outgoing Council Members Shatara Moore and Mickey Ellis for their service. Mayor Pankaj, Mayor Pro -Tem Savage and City Council recognized Council Members Moore and Ellis by presenting them with plaques. 10. Issuance of Certificate of Election; Administer Statement of Elected Officer to Council Members; and Administer Oath of Office to newly elected Council Members. City Clerk Janice Ellis administered the Oath of Office to newly elected Council Members Stacy Ladell (District 1), Gary Savage (District 3), and Alix Putnam (District 6). 11. Election by City Council of Mayor and Mayor Pro -Tem Savage to serve the City of Paris for the next year. Mayor Pankaj reviewed the procedure for the Mayor and Mayor Pro -Tem Elections, and opened the floor for nominations for Mayor. Council Member Norment nominated Mihir Pankaj for Mayor. There being no further nominations, Mayor Pankaj closed the floor for nominations. City Council voted 6 ayes -0 nays, declaring Mihir Pankaj as Mayor. Mayor Pankaj opened the floor for nominations for Mayor Pro -Tem. Council Member Norment nominated Gary Savage for Mayor Pro -Tem. There being no further nominations, Mayor Pankaj closed the floor for nominations. City Council voted 6 ayes — 0 nays, declaring Gary Savage as Mayor Pro -Tem.
