MINUTES OF THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />March 10, 2026 <br />The MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD of the City of Paris met for a <br />regular session at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 at the PARIS CITY COUNCIL <br />CHAMBERS 107 E. KAUFMAN PARIS, TEXAS 75460. <br />PRESENT: Tyrone Hayden, Melissa Jones, Kim Kalina, Mary Hart, <br />Glee Emmite, Kevin Moore (4:43) Karen Doughtry-VCC <br />Liaison, <br />ABSENT; William Walker, Alix Putnam <br />CITY STAFF Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager, HPO <br />Hayley Reynolds -Assistant <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Co -Chair, Mary Hart called the meeting to order at 4:33. She read the Vision and <br />Mission statements. <br />2. Citizen Forum <br />No one requested to speak. <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of February 10, 2026 <br />A motion to approve by Melissa Jones and seconded by Glee Emmite. Motion carried, <br />5 ayes — 0 nays. <br />4. Committee Reports- Workplan updates from committee members: <br />Chamber/VCC- Karen Dougherty - Pumpjack event; if there is an event going on let <br />me know to put on the calendar; getting ready for Tour de Paris and 903 Sunsets;April <br />4 Paris Steak Wars, April 11 Winefest and PTXCon; April 18 Hell of the North Gravel <br />Ride; 25-26 Montin bike races at Pat Mayes Lake. April 30-May30 drag boat races <br />and rodeo at Lake Crook. Another Bass fishing tourney is coming as well. JC Penney <br />is doing a commercial at our Eiffel Tower with students from our school. Lamar <br />County got a new map. We are accepting advertising for these. <br />Melissa Jones, Board Member- working on getting artists for Art Fair and Winefest <br />Kim Kalina, Secretary/Board Member, passed out posters for Winefest; social media <br />and minutes, attended Place Al training. <br />
