Mary Hart, Co -Chair and Board Member- Passed out Wine Fest flyers to businesses; <br />completed Placer Al training; <br />Glee Emmite, Board Member and HPC/PDA Liaison- attended Placer Al Zoom <br />meeting; met Hayley; worked on getting wineries to sign up for the Winefest as well <br />as hotels for the wineries. Spoke to the mayor and attended HPC meeting. <br />Tyrone Hayden- nothing to report. <br />HPC Glee Emmite- special meeting on March 23. Acted on 3 grant applications, two <br />for business and one residential. Reviewed the certificate of appropriateness for <br />property located at 425 1 st ST SW. Cheri will be attending a NAPC conference in <br />Minneapolis in July. <br />PDA (Glee Emmite)- Regular meeting is 3rd Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at <br />Rosewood Eatery. PDA board meeting today. The next big thing is the mini golf <br />event. Kids get to go free. 12 businesses that participate. PDA is planning a fashion <br />week to match France's big event. St. Patricks day big drawing happening at Bee <br />Sweet. <br />Coordinators Report - <br />Cheri Bedford introduced her new assistant- I-layley Reynolds. She will be working <br />on events. She is currently working on Winefest and brick pavers project for first <br />street. <br />Cheri will be working on behalf of downtown with Chris Lambka reviewing with <br />city staff and stakeholders the Toole Plan for downtown. Anyone is welcome to <br />attend meeting on. March 23 to go over the adopted downtown plan and ask <br />questions. Mr. Lambka will be in town for 3 days. <br />Beverly Abel will be here the following Monday to lead a board training and refresh <br />on transforming strategies. Please review the Main Street workplan before the <br />meeting with Ms. Abel. Time set is 2-6 p.m. on Monday the 30th. <br />Winefest is coming along well. Due to busy month of April, the board meeting will <br />be skipped unless something is pressing. Board members are doing specific tasks for <br />Winefest. Kevin is working on the VIP with Walt Reep, Melissa is organizing music. <br />Trolley de Paris will be at the event. Everyone continues to work on finalizing the <br />wine fest event. <br />Cheri and Hayley are setting up an interest meeting for Farmer's market for anyone <br />interested in getting a booth at the Farmer's Market. Cheri is working on quarterly <br />reports with data such as number of businesses, parking spaces, etc. Cheri shared her <br />data sheet to show businesses that opened, closed, relocated, etc. <br />5. Future Agenda Items- Kevin asked about any future items. No one responded. He asked us <br />to review our Toole Plans for the next meeting. <br />
