Barbara Wilson. <br />1. Call meeting to order -Chairman <br />Chairman Turk called the meeting to order at 4:03 <br />2. Citizen's forum <br />No one spoke at the citizens forum <br />3. Review meeting minutes of May 13, 2026 <br />A motion was made to approve the minutes by Commissioner Kee, seconded by <br />Commissioner Emmite, Motion carried, 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />4. Discussion and possible action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness COA 26- <br />000014 HD 1, Property ID CITY BLOCK 11, LOT 6. 124 S. MAIN ST, Steven Clifford, <br />applicant <br />Dr Clifford gave an overview of the project. The property owners will replace deteriorated <br />wood on the canopy and doors, and the coverings that are in place of the transom windows. <br />Their second story windows are deteriorated, so they requested replacement of the aluminum <br />clad wooden windows. The paint will match the existing color palate. <br />Commissioner Emmite asked Chords what was under the plywood covers above the canopy <br />and if the transoms were still there. The commissioner reviewed a historic photo from the <br />1980's and there were decorative transoms. Mr. Chord agreed to investigate what was <br />there and come back to the commission if they found them and discuss options. <br />A motion was made to approve the window replacement with aluminum clad wooden <br />windows and replace wood and repaint the front as needed by Chairman Turk, seconded by <br />Commissioner Kee. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays <br />5. Update to 425 Church Street- David Chase, Architexas <br />
