David Chase, from Architexas, presented a power point and an update on the landscaping <br />and exterior of the renovations of the historic Scott Mansion. The landscape details included <br />location of the pool and choice of shrubbery and the relocation of some driveway entrances <br />and sidewalk enhancements. The commission took no action. <br />6. Subcommittee National Register District HD-1 update -Chairman <br />Chairman Turk discussed the options of updating the National Register Commercial District <br />listings for downtown. Waiting on more information and potentially sending out RFP for <br />assistance and potential CLG grant. This would assist property owners with more incentives <br />by completing the first step of the Federal and State Tax Credits requirements. <br />7. AGENDA --- <br />Discussion and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code inspectors <br />to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to determine whether <br />such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on the National Register of <br />Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic property as designated by <br />the City Council of the City of Paris <br />The commission reviewed the addresses and property photos provided by the Code <br />Enforcement officers. No property was pulled by the commission for additional historic review. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Emmite to approve all of the properties for BSC orders, <br />seconded by Commissioner Kee.
