MINUTES OF THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />June 9, 2026 <br />The Main Street Advisory Board of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 4:30 <br />p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the PARIS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS 107 E. <br />KAUFMAN PARIS, TEXAS 75460. <br />PRESENT: <br />Board Members: <br />City Representatives: <br />ABSENT: <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Kevin Moore, Kim Kalina, Tyron Hayden, <br />Mary Hart, Glee Emmite. Melissa Jones <br />Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager, Hayley <br />Reynolds, Assistant <br />Will Walker, Karen Daugherty, Alex Putnam, <br />Council Liaison <br />Chairman, Kevin Moore, called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m. He shared the Vision and <br />Mission statements. <br />2. Citizen Forum: <br />None came forward to speak <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of March 10, 2026 and May 12, 2026. <br />A Motion to approve these items was made by Board Member Glee Emmitte and <br />seconded by Board ' Member Mary Hart. Motion carried, _7_ayes — —0— nays. <br />4. Main Street Board Workplan- Kevin Moore, Chair <br />Kevin Moore- Reviewed resolution to add 4 alternates to the board, like other boards. All <br />members and alternates attend meetings so that they understand what is happening. Several <br />board members are rolling off as their service is over. So, we will be introducing new <br />members approved by the city council at our next meeting. We thank Glee Emmitte, <br />Tyrone Hayden and Will Walker for their valued service. Melissa Jones has agreed to <br />continue to serve if appointed. Kevin reminded us to turn in our work reports each month. <br />He asked Cheri for a doodle poll to schedule participation in a walking tour. He also talked <br />about the benefits of the Yifty Program. Corporate Partnerships could possibly allow for <br />incentives by matching funds that individuals load onto their Yifty Card. <br />Melissa Jones- recently added art to the downtown windows and has invited us to go by <br />and see it.
