Main Street Advisory Board Meeting June 9, 2026 Page 2 Mary Hart- explained that the Art Fair recently sent out a survey to ask the participants and community for feedback on the Art Fair. We have 28 participants so far. Mary also participated in the unveiling of the art stakes at Parc de Arts. (TS1) Glee Emmite- Glee stated that that was the best art fair that she has attended, and not just because her daughter won Best of Show in the Art Fair. Tyrone Hayden- attended the Yifly Program and attended the art fair. He stated that he thought that the art fair was successful. (TF1) Kim Kalina- invited everyone to go by the Parc de Arts to see the garden stakes. The garden stakes was a collaboration between 3 artists: Suzanna Coyle Farmer, Mary Hart and Melissa Jones. (TF1) 4. Partnership Reports - a. PDA- Glee Emmite stated that the PDA sponsored their second First Friday, where businesses are encouraged to stay open late. The next First Friday is 1 day before the Fourth of July parade. PDA is planning the VIP Night and Fashion Show at the Gibraltar Hotel and Gymnasium downtown. They want to incorporate a lot of art that night. The night of 903 Concert with food trucks being moved to Clarksville and S. Main was a success. b. Kevin Moore added, since Karen is absent, that we should keep an eye on our socials to know more about the fourth parade. We are close to possibly having a flyover. The local orchestra will be playing and Celebrate America shirts are for sale at the Banks and local stores. Money raised will support funds for fireworks to help create an extra special 250th birthday celebration of our nation. 5. Coordinator's Report Cheri Bedford asked Hayley Reynolds to discuss plans for the Festival of Pumpkins and Farmer's Market this year. Hayley shared ideas of adding VIP parking and a hospitality area for sponsors and volunteers. The plan is to add new attractions as well. If you want to be on the planning committee, please let her know. The application for vendors is up. The cost is 150.00 for vendors, with non-profit at 100.00. We are going to change the hours of the festival this year to 10-6 and allow food trucks to set up early. Future will be to move it to Bywaters Park, but not this year. As far as Farmer's Market- based on Placer Al data, the market is going well. We will be hosting a Father's Day event this month. And really, adding more events to bring people together. We will also be increasing the vendor fees for FM. Cheri Bedford- shared about the First St. Project. It is progressing well. About 95% is done with pavers. The glass blocks will be installed soon. 75 more orders have come in for brick pavers. We will use the extra money to add amenities to the area. More bump - outs are coming. We do plan to partner with MSAB and city staff to host an unveiling of the First Street Project when completed.
