Motion carried, 5 ayes — 0 nays. <br />13. Receive and discuss the May financial reports. <br />Finance Director Steve Marriott reviewed the May financial reports with the City <br />Council. He covered the general fund results, utility fund revenues, utility fund expenditures, <br />airport fund revenues, airport fund expenditures, staffing levels, and investments. <br />14. Convene into executive session pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government <br />Code, to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation <br />in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental <br />body in negotiations with a third person. <br />Mayor Pankaj convened City Council into executive session at 6:37 p.m. <br />15. Convene into open session and possibly take action on those matters discussed in <br />executive session. <br />Mayor Pankaj reconvened City Council into open session at 7:18 p.m. and said there was <br />no action to be taken. <br />16. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 2024-081. <br />Council Member Norment said she wanted to make sure they move forward quickly with <br />the donation boxes previously discussed. City Clerk Janice Ellis reminded City Council of the <br />two special meetings scheduled for the following week. <br />17. Adjournment. <br />There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Mayor Pro -Tem <br />Savage and seconded by Council Member Ladell. Motion carried, 5 ayes - 0 nays.
