Conduct a public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of the City of <br />Paris for amendments to Exhibit 9B, Zoning Ordinance, including repeal and replacement <br />of § 29, Solar Farms, to establish regulations governing Utility -Scale Solar Energy <br />Facilities, including definitions, permitted locations, Specific Use Permit (SUP) <br />requirements, dimensional standards, buffering and screening requirements, airport and <br />glare protections, infrastructure standards, decommissioning requirements, financial <br />assurance requirements, and related development and operational standards. <br />Duke McGee presented the item to the Commission. Commissioner Rochelle Jones asked <br />if this ordinance will cover data centers. McGee advised the language specific to data <br />centers will be brought forth in a future meeting. <br />A motion to approve the text amendment was made by Commissioner Chad Lindsey and <br />seconded by Commissioner Chance Floyd. Motion carried, 7 ayes — 0 nays. <br />10. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of the Lake Crook Sub Addition, Lot <br />1, Block A, LCAD 53682, located in the 200 Block of Lake Crook Rd. <br />Steve Hodges presented the item to the Commission. Staff recommends approval without <br />conditions. <br />A motion to approve the preliminary plat was made by Commissioner Eric Guillot and <br />seconded by Commissioner Chance Floyd.
