Regular Council Meeting <br />July 27, 2026 <br />Page 2 <br />Consent Agenda <br />Mayor Pankaj inquired of Council Members if they wished to pull any other items from <br />the consent agenda for discussion. There being none, a Motion to approve the consent agenda <br />was made by Council Member Attebury and seconded by Council Member Ladell. Motion <br />carried, 4 ayes — 0 nays. <br />5. Approve minutes from the meeting of July 13, 2026. <br />6. Receive reports and/or minutes from the following boards and commissions: <br />a. Quarterly Reports from Love Civic Center and Visitors & Convention Council <br />b. Main Street Advisory Board (6-9-2026) <br />c. Paris Public Library Advisory Board (5-20-2026) <br />d. Historic Preservation Commission (6-10-2026) <br />7. Receive June drainage report. <br />8. Approve annual chemical bids to be used at the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. <br />Regular Agenda <br />9. Discuss and act on RESOLUTION NO. 2026-025: A Resolution appointing a qualified <br />person to fill the vacancy in City Council District 2 and to serve as City Council Member <br />for District 2 until the next regular election in May of 2028. <br />Mayor Pankaj said at the special City Council meeting on July 20, 2026, Council <br />interviewed three candidates and approved the appointment of Tim DeWitt to serve in this <br />vacancy. He also said this Resolution formalizes that action. <br />A Motion to approve the Resolution was made by Council Member Attebury and <br />seconded by Mayor Pro -Tem Savag. Motion carried, 4 ayes — 0 nays. <br />10. Administer Oath of Office to newly appointed City Council Member for District 2. <br />City Clerk Janice Ellis administered the Oath of Office to Tim DeWitt, newly appointed <br />City Council Member for District 2. <br />Mayor Pankaj announced that City Staff had asked that they consider the next three items <br />in the following order beginning with 13, 12, and 11. A Motion to change the order of the items <br />was made by Mayor Pro -Tem Savage and seconded by Council Member Ladell. Motion carried, <br />5 ayes — 0 nays. <br />11. Discuss, conduct a public hearing and act on ORDINANCE NO. 2026-027: an Ordinance <br />considering the petition of the City of Paris for amendments to Exhibit 913, Zoning <br />Ordinance, addition of § 31, Data Center, to establish regulations governing Data Center <br />
