purposes (the "2026-27 Fiscal Year Budget"), be and the same is hereby adopted and approved. Section 3. That for the purpose of providing the funds necessary and proposed to be expended in the 2026-27 Fiscal Year Budget, available resources and revenues of the City be, and the same are hereby appropriated and set aside out of the general fund and other revenues of the City for Fiscal Year 2026-27 for the maintenance and operation of various departments and activities of the City, for capital and other improvements of the City, and for all other expenditures included in the 2026-27 Fiscal Year Budget, all as more fully set forth in the 2026-27 Fiscal Year Budget. Section 4. That the City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, shall complete and attach a cover page to the 2026-27 Fiscal Year Budget containing all the information required by Texas Local Government Code § 102.007(d). The 2026- 27 Fiscal Year Budget shall be filed with the City Clerk and County Clerks of Lamar County and, along with the cover page and record vote of each member of the City Council by name voting on the adoption of the 2026-27 Fiscal Year Budget, be posted on the City's website. Section 5. That all provisions of the ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas it conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, and all other provisions of the ordinances of the City of Paris not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. Section 6. That the repeal of any ordinance or part of ordinances affected by the enactment of this ordinance shall not be construed as abandoning any action now pending under or by virtue of such ordinance or as discontinuing, abating, modifying, or altering any penalty accruing or to accrue, or as affecting any rights of the municipality under any section or provisions of any ordinance at the time of passage of this ordinance. Section 7. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Paris that this ordinance and every provision hereof shall be considered severable, and the invalidity or partial invalidity of any section, clause, or provisions of this ordinance shall not affect the validity of any other portion of this ordinance. Section 8. That this ordinance shall become effective after its passage and publication as required by law.
