HPO Report - Bedford <br />Historic Preservation Officer Cheri Bedford reported on information from a preservation <br />conference in Minneapolis, including discussion of design standards, communicating the <br />value of historic preservation, and the usefulness of an illustrated glossary as a resource <br />for property owners and preservation efforts. Bedford also discussed the need to update <br />the City of Paris historic resources documentation. The existing survey is outdated and <br />does not include many properties that may now qualify as historic. Bedford stated that <br />she plans to begin pursuing grant funding to update the historic resources survey to <br />include properties through the 1970s. <br />8.
