<br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: ChairmaIl and Members of the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council <br />I. <br />FROM: Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development ~\,)J <br />} <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Zoning Change Requests <br /> <br />DATE: November 29,2005 <br /> <br />The following zoning change requests will be presented at the December 5, 2005, meeting <br />of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the December 12, 2005, meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Paris for consideration: <br /> <br />1. Dennis Chalaire is requesting that the property located on Lot 4, Block 318, of East Park <br />Center, being number 3235 Loop 286 N.E., be rezoned from an Agricultural District (A) to <br />a Commercial District (C). A portion of this lot is currently zoned Commercial (C); <br />however, when the lot was replatted to enlarge its size, it took in property currently zoned <br />Agricultural (A). The Comprehensive Plan recommends that this area be zoned <br />retail/commercial. <br /> <br />2. Donna L. Moore is requesting that the property located on Lots 2 and 3, City Block 36, being <br />number 546 Pine Bluff, be designated as Historic Overlay District No. 14 (HD-14). The <br />property is currently zoned Multi pIe Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MF -1), and this overlay <br />zoning will not affect the existing use. The Historic Preservation Commission has <br />recommended approval of this request, and this request is not inconsistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />3. Rita Buford is requesting that the property located on Part of Lot 4, City Block 29, being <br />number 617 E. Houston Street, be rezoned from a Multiple-Family Dwelling District No.1 <br />(MF -1) to aN eighborhood Service District (NS). The Comprehensive Plan recommends that <br />this area be zoned Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />4. Gracie Johnson is requesting that the property located on Lot S 93' of2 & 3, Block 1 of the <br />Pickard Addition, being number 7 61 Wood Street, be rezoned from a One-Family Dwelling <br />District No.3 (SF-3) to a One-Family Dwelling District No.3 (SF-3) With Specific Use <br />Permit (39) Mobile Home. The Comprehensive Plan recommends that this area be zoned <br />Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />5. Caroline Dangerfield is requesting that the property located on Part of Lot 1, Block 3 of the <br />Pickard Addition, being number 1020 7 Y:z Street NE, be rezoned for a change in from a One- <br />Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) to a One-Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) With <br /> <br />T"'" <br />
