Houston Street. <br /> <br />Chairman Hayter advised the Commission that the zoning ordinance <br />requires General Retail zoning for what Ms. Buford is now wanting <br />to do at this location. Brad Archer stated that if the zoning were to <br />be changed to retail, there would be no guarantee what would be <br />there 15 years from now, and he did not think it was an appropriate <br />zoning classification for a neighborhood. <br /> <br />Motion was made to deny by Russell McCain, seconded by Reeves <br />Hayter. Motion carried by a vote of7 ayes and 1 nay. <br /> <br />8. Public hearing to consider the petition of Gracie Johnson for a <br />change in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No.3 (SF-3) <br />to a One-Family Dwelling District No.3 (SF-3) With Specific Use <br />Permit (39) Mobile Home on Lot S 93' of 2 & 3, Block 1 of the <br />Pickard Addition, being number 761 Wood Street. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />There was no one present to speak in favor of or against the petition. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />9.
