<br />Planning and Zoning Minutes <br />November 7, 2005 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Lisa Wright advised that Mr. Chavez could not put a commercial <br />building and a house on the property because of the residential <br />zoning. <br /> <br />Mr. Chavez said the building would face 17th Street with the bakery <br />in the back and the parking lot would be in front of the structure. <br />The front will be brick with metal on the back. There will be 8 or 10 <br />parking spaces. The building will be 30 x 30. Mr. Chavez will have <br />a picture of the proposed building at the next Council Meeting. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />8. Consideration of and action on the petition of Victor Chavez for a <br />change in zoning from a Multiple-Family Dwelling District No.1 <br />(MF-l) to a Neighborhood Service District (NS) on Lot 1 and W 15' <br />I <br />of Lot 2, Block 1 of the Anita Park Addition, being number 1705 <br />Margaret Street. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bobby Myers, seconded by Richard Hunt to <br />recommend the zoning be changed to PD-a (Retail Center). Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />9. Public hearing to consider the petition of Bobby Smallwood for a <br />change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Planned <br />Development District - Office Center (PD-f) on a 5.574 acre tract of <br />land located to the east of Townwood Estates #1 at the east end of <br />Levi Lane, which tract is part of a called 99.54 acre tract of land <br />described in a deed to the Townwood Development Company, Inc. <br />and recorded in Volume 511, Page 188 of the Real Property Records <br />of Lamar County, Texas. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />There was no one present to speak in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />y- <br /> <br />r <br />
