Planning and Zoning Minutes November 7, 2005 Page 4 Lisa Wright advised that Mr. Chavez could not put a commercial building and a house on the property because of the residential zoning. Mr. Chavez said the building would face 17th Street with the bakery in the back and the parking lot would be in front of the structure. The front will be brick with metal on the back. There will be 8 or 10 parking spaces. The building will be 30 x 30. Mr. Chavez will have a picture of the proposed building at the next Council Meeting. There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. 8. Consideration of and action on the petition of Victor Chavez for a change in zoning from a Multiple-Family Dwelling District No.1 (MF-l) to a Neighborhood Service District (NS) on Lot 1 and W 15' I of Lot 2, Block 1 of the Anita Park Addition, being number 1705 Margaret Street. Motion was made by Bobby Myers, seconded by Richard Hunt to recommend the zoning be changed to PD-a (Retail Center). Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. 9. Public hearing to consider the petition of Bobby Smallwood for a change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Planned Development District - Office Center (PD-f) on a 5.574 acre tract of land located to the east of Townwood Estates #1 at the east end of Levi Lane, which tract is part of a called 99.54 acre tract of land described in a deed to the Townwood Development Company, Inc. and recorded in Volume 511, Page 188 of the Real Property Records of Lamar County, Texas. The public hearing was declared open. There was no one present to speak in favor of the petition. y- r
