<br />l\fiNUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND <br />ZONING COMMISSION <br />JANUARY 3, 2006 <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Tuesday, January 3,2006, 5:30, <br />City of Paris, City Hall, Council Chambers, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas <br />with the following members present: <br /> <br />1. Marshall Kent <br />2. Benny Plata <br />3. Carl Lucas <br /> <br />4. Brad Archer <br />5. Bobby Myers <br />6. Richard Hunt <br /> <br />Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development, was also present. <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Marshall Kent. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (December 5, 2005, <br />regular meeting). Motion was made to approve the minutes by Brad <br />Archer, seconded by Bobby Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 6 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Gracie Johnson for a <br />change in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No.3 (SF-3) <br />to a One-Family Dwelling District No.3 (SF-3) With Specific Use <br />Permit (39) Mobile Home on Lot S 93' of 2 & 3, Block 1 of the <br />Pickard Addition, being number 761 Wood Street. <br /> <br />Lisa Wright explained that the City Council referred this item back <br />to the Planning and Zoning Commission for reconsideration. <br /> <br />There was no one present to speak in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />Carl Lucas stated that since Council referred this item back to <br />Planning and Zoning, he drove by the location and there are many <br />well-kept frame homes in the area.
