<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-028 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris, doing business as the Paris Police Department's <br />Beat the Heat, an affiliate of North Texas Beat the Heat Association, an anti-drug public <br />relations activity, has a need for the use of a 1984 Cutlass to be used for hot-rod racing, <br />and the City Council of the City of Paris is agreeable to encouraging such public relations <br />activity; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to receive the use of said automobile it is necessary for the <br />City of Paris to enter into an agreement with Billy R. Hill; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of agreement for such use of said automobile and the <br />contingencies related thereto, attached hereto and Exhibit A, should be in all things <br />approved, and City Manager, Michael E. Malone, should be authorized to execute the <br />same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby, <br />authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, doing business as the <br />Paris Police Department's Beat the Heat, the agreement with Billy R.
